UGANDA COMMEMORATES THE NRM LIBERATION DAY

NRM Liberation Day 2018
The Uganda Embassy in Berlin will be closed for business on 26th January 2018 in commemoration of the NRM Liberation Day which is a public holiday in Uganda. The Embassy will reopen on 29th January 2018.

The theme of this year's celebration is "Uganda's Liberation, a significant contribution to our present and future development."

The Uganda Embassy in Berlin has the mandate to:
  1. Undertake activities that further Uganda's overall foreign policy objectives.
  2. Promote commercial diplomacy in line with Uganda's Vision 2040 development plan.
  3. Promote and strengthen the good relations between Uganda and Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, The Vatican, Slovakia, Bulgaria & Romania.
  4. Represent Uganda at the United Nations Agencies in Bonn, Hamburg and Vienna.
  5. Provide information, consular services and assistance to Ugandans in the Diaspora and encourage them to actively participate in developing Uganda
